2023 in their words - In the 1980’s the vision of our founder was to make an elegant, balanced vibrant cabernet from the coolest site in the region. This remains the focus. Gaia just rolls out seemingly better vintage by vintage. Hand-harvested late in the season, it has finesse and controlled power with bright plummy, boysenberry flavours, a tightness of structure and tannins that are supple and satisfying. It has wonderful depth and pleasing length.
Critics thoughts - The cool, low-yielding 2023 harvest has presented Grosset's lofty, exposed Gaia vineyard in particularly captivating and dramatic detail!
