SC Pannell Basso Grenache

This is a low-sulphur, unfiltered Grenache from old, dry-grown vineyard fruit. Named from the Latin "Bassus," meaning low, it highlights minimal preservative use to let the Grenache express its McLaren Vale origins. This 100% Grenache Noir, was gently fermented and matured in old French oak vats, bottled without fining or adjustments. The result, is a perfumed and poised wine featuring violets, raspberry, rhubarb, lilac, and exotic timber notes. Initially coiled and compact, it opens up to reveal a balanced structure of acid, tannin, and abundant fruit, showcasing why Grenache is so beloved.
