Taking over a gem of a domaine in Boudes, Henri works 10.5 hectares of Gamay, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with volcanic soul and red-clay swagger. His approach is natural, his vision is pure, and the wines? Well, let’s just say allocation is already tighter than his pump-overs. This is only his second vintage, and already Henri is making wines that hum with energy and truth. Auvergne just got very interesting.
