Castelfeder's Pinot Nero is sourced from selected vineyards in Bassa Atesina, Italy. It exhibits a fine, characteristic bouquet for Pinot, showcasing fruity notes with hints of spice and smoke. On the palate, it is robust and expressive with a pleasing tannic structure. Hand-picked grapes undergo destemming and 10-14 days maceration, followed by 12 months of maturation in steel. Founded in 1969 by Alfons Giovanett and now managed by Gunther and Alessandra Giovanett, Castelfeder is a family winery dedicated to producing exceptional wines in the unique terroir of Alto Adige.
