Robert Cantin Les Grèzes Sauvignon Blanc 2022
Half a century ago, Robert Cantin was cultivating a few hectares of vines in the village of Thauvenay and was making his own barrels. This cuvee is named for his grandfather Robert, infamous for great storytelling across the Loire Valley. Pressed straight to tank and fermented on lees before bottling, not a lick of oak and all the better for it. Fruit forward and fresh with aromas of ripe tropical passionfruit and a slight stony quality. Farmed organically.
